Each character's voice also uses a different, well, voice. The javelina is polite. The penguins are a bit sarcastic. Etc.

Thanks, Christy - I hope that everyone likes/liked the books you found. If your son every gets an interest in Dizzy Gillespie, that book will also work, and there's also a picture book biography of him called (what else?) Dizzy that I reviewed once upon a time that's decidedly worth a look.
