While I was away
The paper decided to play. Or breed. Yeesh, if I thought my desk was bad before, then I had no idea how bad it could actually get.
Still, I have little time to talk, er, blog, about it, because I've had to deal with it in order to start putting together the submissions packets I promised myself I'd do in the month of August. And hey, it's now T minus 8-1/2 hours until August is gone, daddy, gone. And so, I'm off to print and collate and double-check and stuff envelopes. With hopes of getting at least a handful to the post office by 5 p.m., so I can say I actually mailed them. Although come to think of it, if I get them in the mailbox outside the post office before midnight, I believe I'll count them as mailed.
