i got to frame the most awesome print i've ever had to frame today (it beats out the dr. seuss original featured in juxtapoz and the van gogh etching, at least to me). both of us were like, "omigod you know about seonna hong??" and really excited about framing it. he got a pretty gaudy silver frame on it which i was sceptical of at first, but ended up looking really beautiful with it.
i'm working on knitting a sailboat scene into a pencil bag, and it's hard to make a design out of yarn that doesn't look too cheesy/country-clutter ish. but i am doing my best.
also, does anyone know what the best yarn for a sweater is if you are using pretty small needles?
hopefully i am seeing mission of burma next week at noisepop, we'll see.
and making mix cd's and paintings..
i have little spare time but what i do have i like to use up. i am becoming like my dad.. maybe it's the high blood pressure.
and i am moving in april to downtown sj.. more to come.
