Alex's exams
Alex (my husband) begins his qualifying exams tomorrow for his PhD. He has a 2-hour oral exam tomorrow and 6-hour written exams the 5th, 10th, 13th, and 17th. Within 2 weeks from the end, he'll find out if he passed & can start his dissertation proposal. This is a huge deal and the source of months of stress around here.
