So as You may know...due to my posting lame bulletins, I saw Morrissey in Chicago this past Tuesday. This is my story.
Ok, Barry, Nick and I hit the road around 10. We arrived in Chicago around noon and started walking. It was a beautiful day...seriously. We hopped on the "L" Train and made our way to the Aragon. The show was to start at 7:30. We got to the theater around 1and there was about 60 or so people in line ahead of us. Right away I got to chit chatting with two guys from LA....so we had something else to talk about besides Morrissey. So, we knew we had a good 7 hours of waiting, and had to find things to do. We made a few trips to Starbucks...mostly for the bathroom. Had lunch at McDonalds (Big & Tasty-No meat...or, No carne as it needed to be said to the cashier Anyways...BARF) But the fries were great, as usual. Somehow we waited all that time and it truly
didn't seem like it. The suckiest part was once we got in, having to wait another hour for the opener to start. Not fun. The show itself was amazing. Kristeen Young opened. I liked it. She sort of reminded me of Bjork in a way...maybe more so the way she looked while singing. Morrissey opened with
Panic...did William, It was Really Nothing (holy cow!!) , then went on to do
Girlfriend in a Coma (Super holy cow!!!) and came back with an encore of Please Please, Please. Seriously.....So good! Here's the pics.
Waitin' for the train
Waiting....
Waiting some more...

And that is the end of my story. Thank you.
