Everything I need to know in life, I learned in San Diego...

*Before you head off across the desert, make sure that the air conditioning you just got fixed really does work
*Shopping at Ross and Marshalls and going to a movie is more fun in San Diego
*When the weather is cooler, I have a lot more energy and pep!
*Free food is always good, even if it's a power bar or a piece of a power bar type thingy.
*Just because Christopher can climb a tree and get right out with no problems, doesn't necessarily mean that you will not get stuck in that tree for 30 min barefoot.
*Lindy by the Bay is just cool
*You will get asked to dance more if people see you being a dork with your friends when you are dancing, it's a strange phenomenon really.
*You will get asked to dance a ton if you decide that you shouldn't because you are running a marathon the next day.
*Wear sunscreen
*bring sunscreen
*buy sunscreen
*The best way to walk down the beach at night is with a tall hot chocolate from starbucks with 3 of my favorite people in the whole world. (No they cannot be any of your favorite people, they have to be some of mine!)
*When a friend says "can I tell you guys something", or was it "Can I share something" (I don't remember now) it might be better to say no. (LOL, I love you Christopher!)
*Digital cameras are the way to go
*When telling your friend that she is speeding toward a stopped bus on the freeway, be sure she hears you in time.
*I5 north will not take you to the marathon you want to see, it will only lead you to get lost in La Joya, and you will miss the begining of the marathon.
*I will never run a marathon
*Hiking down to a freeway in California can be an adventure, especially if you are wearing sandals.
*If you plan to hand something off to the person running the marathon it is most probable that the person with the item to be handed off will be on the wrong side of the freeway, and the runner will run on by without her much needed power gel stuff. (I am not sure what it is)
*None of us will ever be a cool, or dance as cool as Bee Kid, it's just not possible, we were thinking of booking bee kid to the next AZ exchange!
*When you get up early and you have been hiking down a freeway and stuck in traffic and running all over it might seem like lunch time but really it's only 9:30am
*A Hamburger, Hot Dog or Chicken sandwich tates just as good at 9:30am, especially when you can just sit and watch Bee Kid.
*Knowing you have out of state plates can get you out of a lot of trouble in traffic, hopefully people will realize that you are not from there and you really have no idea where you are going
*A old old woman in her sunday hat and dress dancing a round a gazeebo in seaport village is the coolest thing ever, especially when she is dancing with a walker.
*get a spoon when you order a Wendy's frosty and you are driving, as good as that cold frosty feels when it spills all over your sunburned face, you are still going to be sticky
*Also, probably not the best idea to change shirts in a busy walmart parking lot, people may not notice you in your car but when the shirt you are changing into gets all wound up around itself and you can't get it over your chest...it's not cool in a busy walmart parking lot on a Sunday
*If your air isn't working drive home at night
