the waiting game
So I found my dream house and I am now in mortgage hell. Went to the bank today and got pre-qualified. Went to the realtor and I got my counter offer which I accepted. Now I have the wait and see part. There is another buyer who has the same offer as me but they have a contingency where they have to sell their home first before they can act on the offer. Now that I have an identical offer, they have 48 hours to follow thru on their offer or they have to step aside and let my offer go through. It could happen, or it could not. Either way, I have the approval from the bank and if I don't get this house, I'm thinking of calling the builder of the house and building it myself. I just love the floor plan, the bathroom is to die for...ceramic tile, walk-in closet and sunken jacuzzi tub, great cathedral ceilings and all the trimmings. Either way, I love that house. Even if I have to build it myself...it will be mine. Going to the bank tomorrow and seeing if they can pay off my car and refinance it with a lower interest rate. That would take some of the pressure off of me with the mortgage payment if my car payment was lower. At least I don't spend that much on food. Mostly water and a few crumbs. What I don't eat...I can live in. Ed, Donnie and Brian loved the house. Said they'd come up and decorate. Nothing like a couple of gay men to purty up my house. (I have no decorating sense...it's all theirs).
