Crabby and stuff
I don't know what it is lately...I'm kind of moody, crabby, and sad at the same time. It's not constant, thank God, but its seriously putting a damper on the holiday season. One culprit is work, I wish it wasn't but once again there is upheaval in my office. All I know is if anyone asks me to move out of my office to accommodate the interloper then I'm going to bitch to high heaven and probably file a grievance....and update my resume. I thought I had the stomach for crappy management but I don't, apparently.
In other news, I bought some more lights last night, I'm a mulit-colored light girl but had been putting clear lights on my tree the past few years (because I got them for free) but I want color this year and I wanted the big bulbs to get the old-fashioned look. Walgreens had an awesome selection and I decided on size C-5 bulbs, I didn't know they existed...I was set on buying C-7's but I took one look at these and they will be gorgeous. I also found a new star, in the tacky bright colored design I like....My old star was the most colorful but it started falling apart last year. I like a star on my tree, an angel or bow just doesn't do it for me...
I spent over $100 there, its funny, I go there to pick up a prescription and I never leave spending less than $50.
My sweetie is getting surgery today...arthroscopic surgery on his knee. So I'll be there to baby him tonight and this weekend. Except for tomorrow night, I'm going to the John Fogerty concert!!! woohoo! He is one of my Mom's favorites and mine too so I can't wait!
We still haven't figure out how Steve is going to go to the bathroom since he can't bend his knee and his bathroom is up about 9 steps, hmmm....
