another douchebag
Jerry Seinfeld...I watched him on Letterman the other night not expecting the comments he made about Missy Lapine (who is an author of a cookbook called 'The Sneaky Chef'). You see, Jessica Seinfeld decided to write a book about sneaking vegetables in to foods so kids would eat them...the only thing is that there was already a book that came out in April 2007, Jessica's came out this month.
You see, Ms. Lapine approached HarperCollins first but was rejected and went to another publisher, then along rolls Jessica Seinfeld and, voila! she gets her book published by HarperCollins. Ms. Lapine's came out about 6 months before the Seinfeld book. Not surprisingly, Jessica has sold over a million copies and Ms. Lapine's is no where near.
I would a LITTLE pissed off myself. Happily, Ms. Lapine's book is increasing in sales (she actually has a fitness and culinary background) and she recently did a segment on the 'Today' show.
Unfortunately, Jerry Seinfeld called her a 'wacko' on national television...what a douche.
