Hmm
Well, things are alright. I don't know, I've just felt weird lately.
I'm still sick. Well, I got better, but now I'm having a relapse. And aren't I be lucky, now my prescribed medicine is all used up. Fuck. I'm gonna be sick at Promotion. I just ran the mile today, too. That didn't do anything nice for my cough. I found out I have the Whooping Cough. Literally. Scientifically, it's known as "pertussis".
My 8th grade promotion is next Wednesday. This is my last week of actual school learning. Then, we have Monday through Wednesday next week. They are all half-days, and Monday and Tuesday are both practice for promotion. We have a large class that is promoting, so it's a lot of work to get everything perfect. I have mixed feelings. I get the leave wretched OPMS, but I don't think I'm ready for High School.
I am lucky. Just two weeks ago, I got my bottom retainer fixed (the wire had snapped - and no I was not playing with it, I just put it in and it did that). Now, my top one broke. We'll probably have to actually pay for this one. The other one "wasn't my fault". Neither was it this time, but they will probably think so since it's too big of a coinsidence.
I will have all A's and a B on my final report card. Math sucks. But I tried.
I'm most likely going out for freshman girl's basketball. Can't wait. I began loving it when we did the unit of basketball in PE. And I am tall too, so that helps.
George and Cowboy (two of my cats) ran away in the same week. Isn't that weird? I am very sad. Now we just have the mother cat (no name) and her three kittens, which are about 8 or 9 weeks old now. We are in the process of giving them away, and keeping one. *Sigh*
Nick and I are still together. But we've been having a lot of problems lately. I guess it just comes with the package of a long-term relationship. We'll get through it.
