It's Friday night and I have absolutely no plans. For once I'm not working but everyone else I like is. I invited my sister over to watch Nacho Libre with me, but she's already got plans. Wah. Looks like a night alone at the computer for me. I should clean my apartment at some point because my parents and Middle Sister are coming to Guelph tomorrow to celebrate my birthday, and I suppose I should get things looking half-decent.
Rider still hasn't come home. I have a feeling that she's incredibly pissed off at me and is avoiding me, but I have a terrible habit of getting very paranoid about stuff like this. Maybe she's just studying at the library, or maybe she's been kept up at the lab doing something. Who knows?

5 years ago: I was just about to turn 18. I had just started my OAC year of high school and things were looking up. The year before had been one of the worst of my life, but I had finally patched up some friendships that had been sorely neglected. I was concentrating on having a great last year of high school and on getting good marks so I could get into Guelph.
1 year ago: I was blissfully unaware that plans were in motion that would soon make this past year the very worst of my life. I was about to break up with my girlfriend. Soon after, I would find out on the same day that my BRCA1 test came back negative and that the same girlfriend I'd just broken up with had already found a new boyfriend. But 1 year ago today I was deliriously happy. My girlfriend was coming for my birthday in just over a week, there were big plans to go out, school was going well...life was good. Was.
Yesterday: I went to school, hung out with Ali, went shopping at Value Village for Hallowe'en costumes with Trish and D-Law, came home, got a phone call from Fer, and got into a fight with Rider. Fun times.
Tomorrow: I wil be sleeping in, getting up to do a bit of homework, then my family is coming to take me out for birthday dinner, and then I'm invited to a Hallowe'en party but my costume isn't ready yet and I'd look kind of weird going as Smee without the rest of my Peter Pan cast. So I'll likely just stay in again. Even though Bentron and Laura will kill me as a result.
