I think the button is hiding the map - but I wouldn't quite trust 'Henry' yet. It may do something else. By the look of the preview, Locke is not going to push the button again so he can look at that map. I want to see it now!
And I think Eko is building a church. What do you think?
I like the idea of not pressing the button too. I'm so tired of the button pressing - it's taking away from the other bits of the show.
I can't wait until Charlie realises either! I love the Eko/Charlie dynamic - it's very cute. :)
Did you catch the weird expression on Libby's face right before it cut to the flashback of her in the mental? I don't quite know what to make of it. I really need to watch that bit again...
I believe the whole show to be a study in human psychology.
The whole "in a panic situation most people turn into animals" (Real life example-New Orleans) thing. Also the mob mentality. Some of the behaviour reminds me of taking transit here in Toronto.
Also the fsct that people truly do NOT give a shit about each other and only help each other if there's an agenda.
It's all there.
Even the 1 1/10th of a percent of society that actually DOES care about others. (Rose and Bernie). I like LOST because it only reinforces all the reasons I hate society as a whole. (well, Canada anyways...)
We meet very FEW people in this life worth knowing. The rest are all scum caught up in their "get ahead at any cost" celebrity worshipping dog eat dog existance.
Yeah, obviously it was a Pavolovian experiment. I thought that as soon as they started having to push the effing button. I mean, who was pushing the button before they got there, right? No one! Clearly it need not be pushed. But you're absolutely right to think that it is a study in human psychology when stretched to the limits...I almost can't wait for the show to be over, just so we can find out what the fuck the Dharma Initiative is up to and what the twist is. It's obviously all been a big scam.
