In some ways, do we ever really grow up?
Conversation I JUST had with my father:
Me: Hey, Daddy. Just wanted to let you know your peanut butter crackers might have salmonella in them.
Dad: Oh really? Huh.
Me: Yeah. I was just reading an article about the salmonella peanut butter thing, and they had a picture of your favorite crackers with peanut butter.
Dad: And lying next to them was a picture of a dead man?
Me: Yeah. With X's over his eyes.
Dad: Really? Hmmm....
Me: Yeah, Dad. You definitely don't want X's over your eyes.
Dad: Well, I'll take that into consideration. Thanks for letting me know.
Me: Anytime.
