mine is really high, a round stone in... i'm pretty sure it's referred to as a tiffany setting? i think. but it's six prong.

when i first got it i was kind of shocked at how much it stuck up from my finger but i've totally gotten used to it. it does get caught in my hair so i take it out in the shower and i don't sleep in it. i've never snagged it on my clothes but it's not sweater weather yet.

but because of its height it does sparkle like a mofo!! i love it.

also, the band is yellow gold but the prongs are white gold to blend into the diamond. i love that part.
