Million Dollar Raffle
I have recently heard about California's new Million Dollar Raffle game on TV. I am very tempted to buy a bunch of tickets. The number of tickets available is limited and that means the odds are pretty good. The same set of 5,000,000 tickets will be included in 5 separate drawings for $10,000 - $1,000,000. Up to 10 tickets will be drawn at each drawing, bringing the potential number of individual winners to 50, but even if a ticket wins on a drawing, it is still eligible for subsequent drawings until St. Patty's day. The odds are still pretty high, but they are also pretty tempting. One thing I do know is that my chances of winning are muuuuuch less if I do not play.
Realistically, I'd be more than happy with $10K - $20K (though a million dollars would more than pay off our new home, get us a new car, and pay for the wedding/ honeymoon...hmm...), so if anyone else wants to play and will share that much with me if you win, I promise to do the same for you :) Just let me know first.
