my crazy life...
although i dont have a full time job and not much else to do i feel as if i have no free time. i dont truly understand this concept. lets back up. last week i worked a total of 1.5 hours. i didnt work monday and tuesday i went in at 10 but the weather ended up being completly crappy so i left at 11:30. wed-fri were my days off. wednesday i got so much accomplished. i cleaned the upstairs, the bathroom, the spare bedroom, and my bedroom...top to bottom. i love having things so clean! wednesday night nicole came over and we rented briget jones diary and briget jones #2. we walked with the girls and then my dad made us an awesome dinner and some cosmos ;) by the time we actually got to the movie we both feel asleep about half way through #1. thursday i had to make a drive downtown the the renessance center to drop off some work exhibits for my mom. then i did some more cleaning that day, and prepared for my interview the next day. friday i had an interview in the morning and it went very well. the oral part was great and then i had to do a written part. all went well with the written plan as well..i had to write up a treatment plan for a family, describe what discipline means to me, define curtural competency and how i use it in my practice, and a few other things. the WORST part for me, and anyone who knows me remotely well can contest to this, there was a SPELLING test. I AM THE WORLD'S WORST SPELLER!! yall can probably tell from reading my entries! there was about 50 words, some were spelled right, some were spelled wrong. i had to fix the ones that i thought to be wrong. ahhh. anways for the rest of friday i just chilled and then at night tim and i went out to celebrate being engaged and him getting a full time fire job. i'm glad we got to finally do this...its been long over due. we went to olive garden and i cheated bad on my diet. however, i think it was well worth it cuz the chicken con brocilli, soup, breadsticks, raspberry cheesecake, and sangria have never tased so good. i got drunk off three glasses of sangria...if anyone hasn't had that yet at o.g. please do yourself a favor and go get some! its amazing!! saturday i worked 12-8 and what an interesting day it was. onE of our attendants got bit or stung by something so we i had to take him to the clinic. he was having the worlds worst alergic reaction that i have ever seen. angie came with us incase something happened to him on the way there. so we got to the clinic and the staff there was a piece of junk and good for nothing. derek started to get nausous (sp?) and broke out into a cold sweat, and PASSED OUT in the waiting room while the doc and medical assistant lady TOOK THEIR TIME. anyways long story short we had to call ems and they transported him to royal oak beaumont. please everyone ask angie to do her impression of the lady from the clinc. funniest thing ever!! all in all we were gone from the park for about 3 hours. ems was called while we were gone and it turned into a pretty busy day, even though it started out slow. i no sooner got back to the park and the management staff wanted blizards since we had a bunch of free coupons. SHOCKER all they do is eat! so i went to pick those up and was gone for another 45 minutes. then i got back and 10 minutes later went to take the deposit to the bank with the deputy for 45 minutes. came back to the park, cleaned for about an hour, kicked some people out of the park cuz it was 35 minutes AFTER we closed and they were still taking "family picccccctures" and then i left. last night nicole came over, we went on a late night meijer run, came home dyed my hair and hers, made some fabulously tasting pinapple, lemon juice, ice, and diet siera mist slughy thingies. and now here i am. nicole and i are about to head to stoney for the day. YESSSSSSSS back in the sun, at the beach where i belonG! lol. have a great sunday everyone. p.s. sorry about these long minute to minute updates of my boring life. i'm done after this one cuz i know they are boring to read!!
