Re #39 and recording every book: I've recently read a book written by a woman who did just that. It's called My Life with Bob: Flawed Heroine Keeps Book of Books, Plot Ensues by Pamela Paul. It juxtaposed what was going on in her life with what she was reading at the time, and how it influenced her. Made me wish that I had kept a record of everything I've ever read.

Re #50: When I finish a particularly riveting book, that has completely transported me, I generally have a good cry. It's like homesickness. For a while, I inhabited that universe and made it my home. To leave it can be heartbreaking.

The Paul book sounds fascinating; I'll check it out.

I think that's one reason I fell so deeply into HP fanfiction -- I didn't want to leave that universe!
