'You picked too soon, you're what we call a "pick-too-sooner"'
Nothing too unusual to report, but I haven't updated in a while and for some reason I feel guilty...damn you live journal and your sway over me. Instead of the usual format, I'm going to make a list of everything that has made me laugh recently...here goes.
1. Watching the "Lost Skeleton of Cadavra" the other night. If you have not seen this movie, you must...its like looking into the face of God and having him smile back at you saying,"You are my most wondrous creation"! It's actually meant to be the most cheesy and redundant (emphasis on redundant) B horror movie ever made. With memorable lines such as,"If I didn't want a life of excitement, I wouldn't have married a man that studies rocks." Also, it makes a great drinking game because the word "science" is used so much that if you drink every time someone says it you'll be hammered within the first half hour.
Perhaps I dwelled on that too long...but see it, you'll love it.
2. Reno 911 because it has a lot of cast members from a show that I used to watch on MTV called The State. Every episode cracks me up, especially the one where a member of the force is dating a suspected murderer. She refuses to except it until she finds a hand in a jar in the fridge and the guy goes,"You're not going to be a drama queen about this are you? Cause I can't have you freaking out every time you find a body part in the fridge." Delightful.
3. Tiffany's face on the Zinga water slide at Holiday World. Two words...PURE TERROR! Oh yeah, and me in shorts at Holiday World, that is very funny.
4. The word "burgle", I mean it sounds so funny and instead of saying you stole something, you can say I "burgled" it. That is so much better! Josh said that the next girlfriend he gets he's going to tell her that she burgled his heart...if that doesn't melt her nothing will.
5. Discussing the hidden meaning in ZZ Top's song "Legs". I mean, is he just a leg man or has he finally found a woman who has limbs that she knows how to use?
6. The song "White Kids Love Hip Hop" because it talks about white kids drinking box wine and listening to Weezer...and it ends with Brak from Space Ghost saying "There's nothing to do but take naps and wait patiently for death!"
7. Buying my friend Ben during a man auction for $20 and having him be my personal slave for the evening...and making him wear a green frilly skirt sans pants...he was the puppet and I was the puppet master.
Those are the highlights. Of course there were other things, but those are the top ranking. In other news I saw Fahrenheit 9/11 and it was very good. I also saw Spiderman 2, which was also good. Yay for movies. And I'm spent.
