well, trip down to kent with martial arts choreography was delayed due it being my friend's dad b-day today. so yay to him!!! so will go tomoro instead. kent is safe for now....muhahahaha!!!!
anyway, not a lot else to do. spent new year with ricardo and scott in london. was at the countdown in trafalgar square. ncie big screens, but was better by the london eye. there were fireworks and live music and loads of stuff. still, always next year. the 2 minutes silence was really moving, except for a few prats who were still making noise and didnt realise people were paying their respects to the tsunami disaster in asia. a guy got pissed off next to me and i think he was tempted to shout out "shut the fuck up!!!!" but that would have been a bit ironic...still, 2 minutes of your life is nothing compared to those who died. that was very least they could do. sorry for the rambling, i just feel a bit strongly about this...:p
after staying at ricardo's house, scott and i stayed around to meet up with ricardo's other relatives. we also had a really nice new year's dinner with them. prawn cocktail with smoked raw salmon to start (drools!!) and baked chicken with potatoes and veggies. all followed by ice cream!!! lovely meal!!! it was a bit poo to start because scott and i were kinda left out of the conversation before the meal. understandably, they all spoke spanish, and most people would choose family rather friends when it comes down to it, so its perfectly understandable and acceptable. still, it was hilarious in the end, as scott, ricardo, myself and his cousin and her brother on one end of the table and the oldies on the other. ricardo were shot down, hung, drawn and quartered verbally left, right and centre. scott and i seemed gentle compared to everyone else. it was a great laugh in the end. its all fun and games. then ricardo came back, finally right at the end of the evening, with a quality punchline that got everyone giggling and leaving on a high!!! was nice!!!
