"Fame! I'm gonna live forever! I'm gonna learn how to fly, high! I feel it coming together. People will see me and cry! Fame!..." Harry sings.
I was browsing through CDs at Popular when I came across the discount section - All Fann Wong CDs going at just $10.00 and there was still quite a huge pile left behind.
Remember it was just a few years back, 5, maybe 8 years ago that Fann Wong was a hit, not hinting that she is not one now, but just that there are so many new faces and she's kinda overtaken by the fresher, prettier, 'showing-more-skin' girls on screen.
Fame, can it last forever? Madonna is still one hell of a lady (granny) strutting her toned calves and biceps, and now dating an even younger guy that Mr Rich.
So does time take away fame? How do we define fame? That the current generation goes goo-goo ga-ga over you? That YOUR generation remembers you and probably will go Ga-Ga YA-Ya over you?
Once Hail as the Queen of all Queens, Kumar, where is she now? playing as the 'mysterious man' in Jalan Anak Kambing in season and then just disappearing into the unknown?
Fame, a boost of the ego, a source of income, a lost of privacy, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity....
To all the Queens out there, Have you got your Tiara on?
