I can't wait to start saying '09 at the end of every sentence, much to the delight/horror of all my friends, I'm sure.
For the most part, I despised every single second of 2008, and therefore look forward to this year, as it could not possibly be worse.
Friends, let's be happy '09!
Ok things about '08:
cousin got married
brother got engaged to Mary Elizabeth, what what!
blind date (I guess that's ok? I'm just glad that I've been on one at all, I think)
lost some random amount of weight at some point
all A's
changed my minor to something more awesome
watched LOTR an infinite amount of times
saw RADIOHEAD + could have touched Thom Yorke('s spit) ohhh myyyy
acquired my own box of chillable red. although I'm not so sure that I'm exceedingly proud of that or something. really, I just think it's funny.
goodness that's just pathetic.
Bad things about '08, the abridged version:
MONO.
that one really silly person that screwed a whole lot up for all 12 months. youuu.. make me sad/mentally unstable OH MY GOD
I think that mono basically sums up a whole lot of that godawful year. The moment someone finds a vaccine, or some kind of magic (I spelled that "majic" at first) paste that wards off mono, I'm buying 10 million tubes of it and distributing them fo' free.
I also can't wait to live a mono-free life. I've never valued my health so much ever.
In conclusion, if you were my friend this year, then thaaanks be to you, because you probably saved my life, or at least my sanity.
