i finally listened to all of Francis The Mute. And my life is complete. I have done it. I found the worst record ever made. THere shall be none crappier. Anyone heard A Ghost is Born? Keep your hateful comments to your egotistical cantplayguitarsothereforeimnotallowedtocritizeotherbands self.
I'd like to begin by stating that "D-loused in theComatorium" is without a doubt a much better album, but there are at least 4 or 5 songs on Frances the Mute that are of a good stature.
And, Sedrick and Co. do not think they are experimental, nor do any of the fans. I wouldn't even say that the guitar is anywhere close to that of the "crappy" style of the 70's.
Mr. Marshall, you can criticize this cd all you want as long as I, a huge TMV fan, do not have to hear/read/learn about your inadequate feelings. I am one of your three readers, and as a dear friend and confidant I generally expect to hear myself having a laugh or two in response to your witty and ever-so-cunning entries. Today, you've let me down. I will admit that there are some parts worth mentioning with which i am not too fond of, but to call the entire album a "pretentious piece of crap" and "the worst record ever made" as well as a "tedious fucking [record]" is absolute unnecessary muckraking.
I look forward to a rebuttle from you on the morrow, and wish you all the best in pursuing your music-criticizing career.
Love, hayley
P.S. The album is "Frances the Mute."
like "Francois"
