Defense in two days. Tuesday, June 6. Less than two days, actually, since it's at 10:30 am.
June 6 is both the anniversary of D-Day (wrong war, but still) and, as
stingray1975 pointed out, 6/6/6. The Defense on the D-Day of the Beast. Really, they should just pass me right now, don't you think?
Oscillating between "this could really be an opportunity for some interesting discussion!" and "Ican'tbelievethisisactuallymylifewhattheheckisgoingonhere." Generally settling at looking forward to having the defense over and done with.
The good: I totally know what I'm going to wear on Tuesday (laugh if you like, but even relatively style-deprived academics judge people on their shoes).
The bad: I discovered this morning that I forgot to include my external's book in my Works Cited (but since nobody actually reads those maybe it'll be ok).
The ugly: uh...hm...let's see... Nope. Nothing ugly whatsoever. Except maybe my hangover on Wednesday.
