A Quick Rundown...
♥ Had a lovely day out at Gu Qi Feng with Sander yesterday and it actually was not only *not* raining but these was some hazy sunshine too! Took plenty of photos, which I will put up eventually. The place was quite nice...lots of random artwork and statues in a very unkempt park/garden. Some of the art was obviously fake, unless Taiwan really bought the Venus de Milo and the Statue of Liberty recently. :P
♥ Finished my Gibraltar guide for the magazine and sent that off today. Yay me!
♥ Watched a few episodes of Azumanga Daioh, pretty much the only anime series I really like. Was very excited when I realised I could understand random words and even some of the more basic phrases. I'm getting *somewhere* with my Japanese. :D
♥ Cleaned the terrace-thing outside as there was about 5 inches of black dust on it (I'm exaggerating a little). Did a pretty good job of that and finished it all in time for another rain storm to mess it up again. Grrrrr....
♥ Made a delish Thai meal with some Prik Khing (hehehe) sauce. Was a *little* spicy though but nonetheless very good. ^_^
♥ In the process of arranging our trip to Kyoto. We've found flights on JAL from Taipei to Osaka and hope to stay in Kyoto from Wednesday 19th to Monday 24th July. Got to wait until Sander's boss gives him the all-clear for his leave before we finalise anything. Can't wait!! :D
