Four Eyes...
I've finally had an eye test and bought a pair of glasses on Saturday! I have to collect them later this week but I finally did what my mum's been telling me to do for years. Glasses here are fairly inexpensive and good quality so I thought I'd go for it. I don't plan to post any pics of me wearing them here as I'll probably look more dorkish than normal...plus I want to surprise people when I go home for a few weeks, hehe. ^_^
Apparently my right eye was minus something and my left was plus something (can't remember the actual numbers though!) so my brain was having trouble registering what I was seeing. Trying on the glasses was like stepping into a new world...I could even read small Chinese characters from across the road! While they're kind of cool and may make me look a little more intelligent, I will only be using them to watch TV or movies at the cinema...basically anything that involved looking at something from a distance. But I am quite excited nonetheless!
