Sex Shops and Ex Girlfriends

Yeah, I just want everyone to look at the time I'm making this entry at. I don't know how, but my sleep schedule got so f'ed up. I absolutely cannot fall asleep before 5 am anymore. And it's not like I'm sleeping during the day or anything. I just get up normal time and keep going until 5 or 6 am. weird.

even weirder, try running into your boyfriend's exgirlfriend and her new boyfriend while just walking in the street. It was probably the most random thing of all time. Jeremy came to visit me in Ann Arbor this weekend, my last weekend here. So, Jeremy and I had just finished watching Hotel Rowanda when my roommate came back and started taking a nap so we left. I wanted to go to Urban Outfitters but instead of taking State street (the street it's on for you non-AAs) we took a side street (the one that goes to the cube, past the student hair cut place) and just as we get to I think it's williams where the Michigan Theater is, we Jeremy spots Greg! I'm seriously like "whoa!" because it was crazy shocking. And Michaela, Jeremy's ex, was with him (obviously). We ran over and talked for like a 5 minutes. It was sooo funny for me (and I'm guessing greg) because Jeremy and Michaela were soooo clearly uncomfortable. I guess that's mean, but I'm just saying I really thought we were all cool, cause we had all hung out for like over a month before Jeremy and I started even dating (it's complicated, I'll explain if someone asks, though, cause it's hilarious) and were pretty good friends, so I thought. I suppose I'm delusional for thinking we could all still be friends. It'd be fun though, I think.

Anyway, apparently Greg's sister, who goes to UofM was in that show "grove" which I guess is kinda like "stomp" (I think Michaela described it as "banging on trash cans and such" which sounds interesting but Jeremy would have none of my suggestions that we see it too). Well, after a few "how awkward is this" and "this is so awkward" and a few minutes of Jeremy and Michaela looking really interested in things across the street or on the ground, we said goodbye. Jeremy and I cracked up about that for the rest of the day. Seriously, if we had left thirty seconds sooner or later or had taken State street directly there, we would have missed them. How random.

Well, we were feeling so numbed with shock that we figured, "hey, is there a better time to go into that sex shop on South U? why no, I don't think there is!" so we went into that SafeSex shop. It is soo small! and there was this older couple in there looking at dildos and vibrators and I won't tell you how terrifying the "monster" looked. but it cost about $29.99 if you're interested (just kidding). There are all these crazy novelty things like "penis pasta" and "boob pasta" and penis straws and whatever else you would want for a bachlorette party. Plus there was all this massage oils and books on "the big O" and "a woman's body" and stuff like that. It was hilarious! I was very surprised and had Jeremy not just been shocked to see his ex I'm sure he would have been waaay to uncomfortable to last long in there. Anyway, I won't tell you if we bought anything or not but that penis pasta stuff looked hilarious. OH! and just as we were leaving, this group of emo kids came in looking all pale and tragic and tight-jeaned and just behind them a group of old ladies bounded in all big-haired and suspiciously goofy acting. We promptly took our leave.

Needless to say, a wonderfully amazing weekend. :) :) :) A++++++ would experience weekend again
(that's ebay talk for good weekend)
