From Evac to Insomnia
Yay for building evacuation! woohoo!
So right before Angel Hall was evacuated, my writing class was talking about words and their power. In particular, the word nigger. There was this girl I just wanted to ::smack:: but I restrained myself. She acts like she is "deep" but for some reason today she seemed really ditzy. She refused to say "nigger" and instead said over and over "the n word". But as she continued giving her two cents she explained how this guy calls Asians chinqs. She had no problem using that word. It seemed very hypocritical. I have a hard time dealing with hypocrites. I have to work on that. grrrrr. I'm working on it.... grrrrr....
I felt the moment needed a good South Park reference but for the life of me I could not remember what Cartman called "people of the sand" I know it was a star wars reference (any help Peter?). But I still said that I think Matt and Trey are the most Politically Correct writers. That got a laugh. woo.
For some reason I could NOT fall asleep last night. I was awake until 7am. WTF? Oh well, at least I just have one more class this week. I'm so excited for summer! no more bulky clothes and nice weather... ah... wouldn't that be grand?
So I'm off to nap (hopefully) nuhnight!
