(no subject)
It's totally snowing in the desert right now. Rock! Of course, I'm down in Malibu missing it and getting a little rain instead. I'm not sad about it, because I'm with my boo and he makes me happy. He was so touched by my terrifying journey through the storm just to see him that he went and dropped the L-word on me, oh and he meant it this time haha :) Yesterday was a big day. L-word in the morning, road head in the evening, and a little wine in between hahaha. Btw, road head in a brand new BMW is probably the best way to go about it, smoooooooth ride and the car practically drives itself. HAHA! JK about all that, I'm sure road head is great in all vehicles. Okay, enough about the road head already.
The weather is tripping me out, for real. It seems like its too early for snow in the desert. Dad has been referring to the crazy weather as "Global Cooling" because he's just weird like that. I like it though, the crazy cold weather. Snowwww is so pretty, and even though I'm not experiencing it where I am, I'm sure it's still just as lovely. I hope it's there when I get back, or that we get another batch of it this weekend. Then again, I work through the weekend so I wouldn't get to enjoy it much and it might make my job harder so...nevermind, we can be done with the snow.
Christmas is next week! I still don't feel the spirit of the holiday or any of that. I guess it's just never really been a big deal in my family, especially just with my immediate family. It's always felt like we go through the motions for the sake of everyone else. Like my Lola likes everyone to get together, and my mom likes to cook or something, but there aren't really any kids left to make present opening fun so I just don't see the point. Food, drinks, and fights. That's Christmas for me hahaha. I haven't even gone Christmas shopping, but I figure I'm just gonna bake stuff for everyone anyway so I can do all that the day before Christmas Eve or something. I'm not worried. V is the only one getting an actual gift (the blanket, which I finished btw and it looks awwwwwesome!), and it's more like something I wanted to give him to keep him warm out at school than a real "Christmas Gift" ya know? I mean, I would have given it to him holiday or not. So it doesn't really count. I'm just not about the whole shopping thing, ugh especially these days. Everyone's crabby, the weather is shitty, I have no heating in my car, and at the time I'm shit poor. So no presents for anyone until Kellee gets paid haha.
My feet are fucking freezing. I'm going back to hide under the covers.
