Dragon Ball: The Path to Power - ★★★☆
When an adventurous girl named Bulma meets a bizarre young boy named Goku, they suddenly embark on an epic journey that will last a lifetime. Together, they set out to recover the mystical dragon balls, which encompass incredible power. Legend has it that if they can acquire all seven balls, an eternal dragon will fulfill their fondest wish. This addictive Japanese anime will have you at the edge of your seat!---
Previously, I've only seen bits of episodes of Dragon Ball Z. Not enough to get me interested. But this was cute! I say cute, but that's probably not the best word to use. It's definitely not a movie for kids. Master Roshi and Oolong (or whatever his name is) are both dirty old men. Well. Oolong's not a man. He's a pig. In more than one sense of the word, I guess. Anyway, it was very entertaining. And it was cool to see the story, I've heard so much about, from the beginning. Now, if I would just learn to like Z,
mr_j would be happy.
My favorite anime thusfar is still Howl's Moving Castle. :)
This will probably be my last (new) movie for 2008. On to 2009 and a new sticky list!
