Christmas is coming!
Only one more day left on my Peds Surgery rotation - and thank god! I could never be a surgeon - primarily because of the ungodly hours. Rounding at 5am is downright inhuman! Lacey, I don't know how you do it!
I will say that over the course of the month I feel I've become more independent, more secure in my decision making abilities, and gained confidence in patient management. I guess you have to when in house alone and covering up to more than 25 patients. Gives me hope that I'll be a good senior next year.
Besides all that I've been enjoying good times with friends. Ice skating last weekend, catching up on my Christmas shopping, and having dinner and conversations with friends, does wonders to boost the holiday spirit!
My apartment feels very festive and cozy tonight as I finish cards to family and friends and wrap presents in the light of my tree and candles.
I fly back to the mitten on Saturday and I'm prepared for a flurry of family and activity :)
