Crack Crack Boom!
Trestin and I were on our way home from his parents' house and looking at all of the branches that have fallen from the heavy snow and ice. It sparked the discussion on my worry about my car and how it only has liability insurance so it's not protected if a branch/tree falls on it. A great thing to realize as my little car is parked under our forest canopy. We decide to go home, move some stuff out of the garage and park Lil' Brudder inside. We pull into the driveway to find a nice, large branch resting against the side of the passenger door. No damage, but had it fallen a few inches closer, it probably would have taken out my passenger window. Why yes, that's exactly what I would like to have happen right now! I'm lucky and my car is now safe inside. Some of our trees in the back are laying down from the weight, so Tres tried to shake some of the snow off so they don't break. Our Winter Wonderland is starting to be a bit dangerous... But at least I got to go sledding today!
