woo hoo
Hey guys! So wednesday night at CARE I ran for President for the 05-06 school year and....drum roll please...I WON!! I am so excited you have no idea. This is so important to me and I just wish it were fall already. I have so many great ideas and I love everyong in CARE so much and I just think that its going to be amazing. The rest of e-board (vice, secretary, treasurer) elections are next week. When I gave my speech I just wanted to make sure everyone realizes what a passion I have for the cause and the organization. It started with me joining because of Laura but it ended up being that I did it for me. She is the reason I started but I realized how it is my place and it is what I am supposed to be doing.
Of course, I do have to say that when I went home I was a little bit sad because right when I walked in my room I saw the picture of me and Laura on my wall. I just wish that she could have been the first person I called. I just wanted a big hug from someone to say congratulations and I just wanted her to be proud and ot be able to say that to me. But I do believe she is watching me so someday she can tell me what she thinks....
