the more i think about it, the more that the idea of marriage seems like a bad one.
example 1: BH and CI (engagement actually)
example 2: JH and JR
example 3: CK and JK
I'll use #2 as an example. This couple seemed to be very solid. They were together for 12 years before getting married. Now his thing is that he didn't have his crazy years during college. He was busy dating his WIFE. At some point in the 12 years of dating, there was a short break, during which he had some crazy times. Could either of them do better? Well, maybe. The point that i'd like to make is that they seem to be a good couple. All his talk about not having all the nagging and fighting...ugh. I do hope that they sit down and get some couples counselling.
Not to mention the TENS of thousands of dollars spent on their wedding. Literally. A $45k credit line was maxed out and then some.
i guess what i'm saying is if someone has to get married they should do it in vegas.
