This is the first time I've been in dad's current house.... conclusion I don't like it....
It's ugly.
It's badly designed.
I don't like having a bolt on my bedroom door that is only useable from outside.
I don't like that the bed is so soft that I can barely move as I sink so far.
I don't like that instead of a lamp or a bed side light I have a flurescent tube.
I don't like that I can't reach the cupboards.
I don't like that dad's internet sucks.
Three days is about the limit on what I can cope with of dad.... we're now upto 5 days and I'm about ready to throw things.
I have to restrain myself from telling dad to get out of my house this morning... which is BAD....
I just want to go home... (this ISN'T home)
I want to put my books and dvd's in order
I want to shop for and take delivery of my tv
I want to sort out my camp/kit store
I want to finish putting my clothes away
I want to work out how to sit 12 people down for dinner (might require some bending of the laws of physics)
I want to be *HOME*
But I just have to get thru til Friday evening, as I'm heading straight north after the wedding.
And from Monday I'll have time to sort stuff out.
Right.... rant complete.... time to relax
