*sighs with relief*
I've not got any resits from January. I was certain that I was going to have to resit inorganic chemistry - I came out fairly confident that I had a total of 11 marks. Which isn't really enough to pass....
However I picked my results up from my useless tutor this morning and had managed to scrape 43 for it. So its only a pass - not even a third, but its not a fail which is a start. Then had a 56 (for the module that I didn't really have time to work for), a 61 (for the module I worked every waking minute for), and a 62 for the module I hated but can do.
Overall, a 55.5% average.
Which given the amount of archery work I've done, and how much I struggle with inorganic I'm not unhappy. I'm a long way from being unhappy. I'm happy with the results! No its not a first, and no its not even a 2:1, but tbh I don't know if I have the ability to get a 2:1. But its enough to stay on the masters should I wish to. And its enough that I'm thus far still free over the summer. And once they add lab marks in... well as far as I can tell I averaged 68-72 for inorganic labs, and am at about 60-65 so far for physical. Organic is an unknown, as I've never done 2nd year organic labs, but as long as I don't flunk them and I should be able to use labs to pull my grade up a couple of percent. (assuming 68 for inorganic then my average jumps upto 58, which becomes 59 if I've done better than 68.)
And thats enough to mean that with more organic this semester its actually possible that I *might* end the year on a 2:1 average. Which would be very nice.
Now I just want to celebrater this.
