It’s about time
One of my indulgences during singlehood, was watches.
I was at one point, quite besotted with them. Of course the ones I eyed had to be within my means, which meant only the usual brands you see in retail outlets; nothing high-end.
I actually had more than a dozen; each for dress and sports. A little exaggerating even for inexpensive watches. I had overdone it.
As with other things, most of us tend to find ourselves always picking that same few over the rest, even if spoilt for c. It’s like how we complain of not having anything to wear whilst staring into a wardrobe beaming with clothes. They’re all still great, but we only have eyes for a few.
So instead of just leaving them, I decided to let them go on carousel. I had their batteries changed and one by one they started their rounds on the online platform.
And boy, to my surprise they moved pretty fast! I sold 7 in a month. I took half its purchase price off and now with 7 gone, I’m almost down to my last few.
They’re now much better appreciated, and I’m glad for them (and my pocket).
