I am almost there. So. Close.
Yesterday was one of the hardest days I have had in a while. Nothing bad happened really, but it went on forever.
I started out by heading to art class at 8 in the morning to watch all of our class's final film projects. At lecture on monday we watched everyones videos from the whole class, but since there were so many, we couldn't get any feedback or anything. So yesterday we watched all of the ones from our lab class and got some feedback from other students and our teachers. It was really cool to see everyone's final cuts after seeing what the roughs looked like before and how much some of them had changed visually and even in concept and content, too. I was pretty happy with mine, I thought it looked great and was pretty interesting. When we watched mine in class people seemed to really like it which was awesome, and our lab tech/everything/really cool guy toby said that he liked it too, but that Professor Novak (our professor for the lab portion of the class) was "super into this one!" I just about died. Haha. This professor is pretty much the coolest guy ever. He does amazing work of his own and always showed us the most interesting, up to date work that was going on right now. He always played awesome interesting music before lecture and basically just knows what's up. That was pretty much the biggest compliment I could have asked for. I admire him and he likes MY film? What? Haha anyway that pretty much made my day.
After that the day unfortunately continued and I proceeded to sit around and procrastinate the 2 papers and powerpoint that I had to have done by today. Ended up staying up way too late working on them. Typcial.
Whatever, most of it got done and so far I have A's in all of my classes so hopefully my time mismanagement won't affect that too much. Today was a little better. Long day. On the plus side, I went to the 'Open Showings' for dance where all of the dance classes do informal performances of what they have been working on this term. That was really fun to watch and got me excited about taking ballet and modern next term. Sometimes I think I should be a dance major because I love it so much and because I think I definitely could, but then I remember that I don't want to teach and would have no job when I graduated. :)
French test tomorrow. Shouldn't be too bad. Then, saturday morning I will get on a train back to Portland and not come back for FIVE WEEKS. So. Close. Woo Hoo!
