(no subject)
So, it's been awhile since I've last updated. I have no clue what has happened. I do know some things though which I'll tell now. Gather round kiddies.
On Saturday was our Poms carwash and we raised $1100!! It was awesome! I was there for both shifts (8 hours) cuz I had nothing better to do. I didn't get as burnt as I did last year but I got it on my neck and on the back of my legs. Oh well. It's better now.
On Monday we had our first day of poms camp, a joyous 8 hours of dancing in a burning hot school gym. I couldn't move very well because of my sunburnt legs. It was fun though. Then we went to the picnic (which was at my house for the third year running!) and had lots of yummy desserts! Then we went to the hotel to spend the night and spent the whole night dancing. Woot!
On Tuesday we were up bright and early for another 8 hours of camp. Our families came to watch us perform the two dances we learned and I got blue ribbons on both! I also tried out for all-stars (where if your accepted you can go to London!) and I made it! Yeah! I probably won't go though since it's like $2,000 and my mom and I are already going to Ireland next summer for Irish! I also got the 110% effot/outstanding effort award which was cool cuz I totally worked my booty off this year!
On Wednesday I couldn't move, at all, cuz I was so incredibly sore. But my mom and I brought my poms jacket in to get my patches sewn on (we had like 5 or 6 to put on) and had dinner at Lou's. All in good fun!
On Thursday I was at the school dancing from 9am-4pm and went to 3 1/2 hours of irish right after that. Woot, 9 1/2 hours of dancing in one day!!!!!!
Today, I didn't really do anything. I took a shower which is good. I tried veet and it actually worked pretty well! My legs weren't totally burning to death like when I tried nair! Woot woot! Screw you shaving!!!
Well, I think that's enough to keep all ya'll satisfyed for at least a little while. I'll update once something fun or exciting happens, or just when I get real bored!
