I am not going to go into too many details...but we had the signing set up to close on the house last Thursday. The attorney that we were going to (PJ Nangle) ended up having something come up and the signing was going to be postponed until Tuesday. Well, the seller decided to give me the key to let me start moving some stuff in already because the 1st of June is quickly approaching. I took my dad in to have a look, and he was walking around in one of the bedrooms. He noticed a spot in the floor that kind of gave a little. So, we went down to the basement. The basement was a full basement mostly, except for that part because that bedroom was an addition. Back in the corner of the house that was barely visible (and had been hidden during the showing) we noticed that the floor was being held up by a 2x6. Oh yes. That is a very costly thing to fix. That also made us think that if the floor was that bad in a new addition to the house...how is it in the rest of the house really? Then my dad (who is extremely detailed oriented and notices EVERYTHING) noticed a beam that had termite damage that the inspector either didn't notice or failed to report... I was not very happy with the inspector after this... The good thing was, that if the signing hadn't been postponed, I may have need thousands of dollars to fix this house because many flaws were hidden under some very good camoflauge. I feel like an idiot, and though I am disappointed, I won't let it discourage me. We'll keep looking and this time I am taking my dad in after the inspection. Lol

Other than that, everything is going well. I think I am going to explode. Lol. I am good though! Hope that all of you are having great weeks!!
