(no subject)
ARG!!!!!! I'm very angry right now! I was scheduled to work 5-8 tonight. well, we got a call from West 11th Mcdonalds, and they were apparently short 2 people for the night, so I was begged to go over and close for them. I said yes, just because I felt bad because the manager was in a car accident and another person was sick. so.. I went. yeah, that was a big mistake. I almost didn't get a break at all, but I begged the manager who was there (who was also a complete freak!) and the girl who was working with me to let me have a break. I worked for basically 7.5 hours. so I should have gotten two 10 minute breaks and a half hour break. I got one 12 minute break (which should have been my half) and a 7 minute break. yeah, thats about HALF as much break time as I should have gotten. and the manager was just really dumb and really really annoying. oh my.. it was seriously like having John Roberts as a manager. it was that bad. UGH! and then, just as we were about to go home (it was about 12, which is when we should have been done) he was like, "oh yeah! go clean the bathrooms." ARG!!!! I have NEVER EVER had to clean the bathrooms at my store.. EVER! so everyone else just stood around waiting for me to finish cleaning the bathrooms. and I could hear them complaining about having to wait the entire time I was cleaning. it was really frustrating to me. oh yeah! and on top of that, during one of my breaks I got food cuz I was absolutely starving. yeah, extremely bad idea. I got a fruit salad and a big and tasty. about 20-30 minutes later, I shoved the headset at the manager and ran to the bathroom because my insides felt like they were going to explode. yeah, lets just say it came out both ends. it was really gross. so, my suggestion, NEVER EVER EAT AT THE WEST 11TH MCDONALDS EVER!!!!! its so dirty in there!! seriously, it looks like they don't clean a thing until closing time. its gross. and they don't have good standards of like, wasting food that gets too old. they serve it all anyways. regardless of how long its been made up for. yeah, so I got food poisoning, and wasn't allowed to go home because there was no one else to come in for me. yeah, that was not fun. I had to swallow some puke like 3 times. it was really nasty. and now I'm extremely angry and feeling very sick. hopefully I feel better tomorrow though, because some of my friends are coming over to watch movies during the day, and then I'm going up to stay with Jen in Corvallis for the night. and I really really don't want to be sick and miss out on both of those things. perhaps reading Harry Potter will make me feel a little better, and make me sleepy enough to eventually fall asleep. right now I'm so angry that I can't even imagine sleeping right now.
