I just can't wait.
New York is only around the corner. I'm finally getting out of this weird resort/podunk bullshit setting and into an actual city with a fucking transit system. I've never lived anywhere with that sort of thing so it goes to show you how much of a dingus I am. And not only that, I'll only be about an hour away from Manhattan via metro. Sensationnel, non?
Anyway... I've only got to deal with this place until Labor Day. I really can't pass up $11.75/hr, 40+ hours a week. The time and a half pay is pretty nice as well. And I'll be getting a bonus at the end of the summer in reflection to how many hours I work, i.e. 1 dollar per hour. So it should be close to 500 bucks. It may not be much, but it's money and I'm not going to deny it.
On another note: I'll start posting artwork soon, I swear. I'll finally have access to a scanner to be able to do so~
Also- say hello to my favorite shaped covering for my head, which never fails to make me look like a grease pup, Lint Hat.
