So we learned about walk cycles, and, well, it's amazing how much more my eyes have opened up to how people move, and how you could almost define our walks as our own identity. And I have to say, one of the best books ever that I have come across reading, has been the
Animator's Survival Kit, courtesy of Richard Williams. The man behind Who Framed Roger Rabbit. I'm declaring it now. Richard Williams is an absolute genius. The way he explains animation in his book is so easy, down to earth, not to mention entertaining, and so chock full of incredible knowledge I feel I've learned more from reading the first fifty pages than any professor has taught me.
Seriously, if you're into animation, I absolutely demand you get this book.
