It's noon. I've been up for a while. I have a bunch of things I should be doing (showering, for example). But... I just don't feel like it. So I thought I would update, since my last few haven't really been much in the way of actual updating.

So here goes...

I've been working a lot. Then working a little more. Then just a little more.

I did get to go home for Christmas, however. It was really (surprisingly) great. I got there later in the evening on Christmas Eve and my dad actually gave me a nice big hug. I stayed up for a while talking to Jason. The next morning, the kids woke me up much earlier than I wanted... but it was alright. Opened gifts, ate a HUGE breakfast, then busted out the Poker Set that I got the boys. We ended up playing that almost all day. As a matter of fact, I think that Jason and Cory were still finishing the game when I left! (yes, I lost. I can't win EVERY time!) I went over to see Grant and Nathan and bring them their gift. Nathan made me cookies. It was cute. And they were good! Went back home and had a GREAT dinner. Dad and Lisa were upset, because they didn't think the dinner turned out that great. I guess they didn't realize that Jason has been eating dorm food, and I have been eating the same 4 things over and over again. It was a delicious feast for us. And the rest of the kids aren't picky. It was funny seeing them all stressed out trying to make it perfect, even though there was nothing bad about it at all! After dinner and dessert, I said bye to everyone (cried, but none of them saw it) and went over to see Anne and Audra for a bit. We went down to Lake Michigan, since it is the one thing that we all miss about GH. Anne fell in the water. It was funny... at least to me and Audra. I don't think Anne thought it was quite as funny. I didn't end up leaving Grand Haven until almost 1:30 in the morning, getting me home at almost 3. Made for a fun double the next day, that's for sure.

So, yeah. That's about it. I can say more about one day than I can about the entire rest of the break. Wow, that's pathetic.

Well, time to get ready for work...

..... imagine that!
