Relationship Status: It's complicated
Okay, I know this is a huge stretch for you, but can you please pretend you're like, into me?
-> Went to Nine Inch Nails last night and had a blast. They were doing a double act with Queens of the Stone Age but luckily NIN were on first and the friend of mine I'd gone in with was just there for the support act so he was happy to bail after NIN. I only know one song of QOTSA so I wasn't too fussed to be a zombie at work the next day for them. I felt kinda old though going, welp, 10PM, that's it for me. Heh.
-> I was on carer's leave from work last week for looking after my parents after dad's surgery, now I feel like I need ANOTHER week off just to recover from having to talk to ridic hopeless government agencies for a week. What's good though is that Dad said he was really glad he had me there because he didn't think he could handle all those phonecalls and getting the runaround. I lean on my Dad a LOT (he's always been my rock and we've gotten heaps closer in the last few years as mum's health has declined) so it's nice for him to be able to have had everything taken care of for him for once.
