My toilet is always *closed* curious cats and the puppy gog do *not* need to be fooling around in there. Not, of course, that i've gone to the bathroom by myself in *years*....

I've always got at least one cat that follows me to the bathroom, and they are *so fascinated* by it. I have to hurry and get the lid shut or they'll be all leaning *waaaaaaay* in, the fools.

When i clean it, and flush to get rid of the suds or whatever, Jack nearly leaps in. Just what a need - a hysterical cat soaked in toilet water and Scrub Free.

We're keeping her in the bathroom because she has kitty flu so we don't really have a choice about her being in there... heh. Just have to be quicker about catching her. I went just before my flatmate but I caught her before she landed in the toilet and was like, phew that was close, only SHE WAS DETERMINED TO BE COVER IN PEE APPARENTLY!!

The part about the kitten in the toilet made me laugh. When my cat was about 10 weeks old, I got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and didn't realize he'd followed me. I lifted the toilet seat lid, turned around, pulled my pajamas down and . . . splash! water all over my bare ass. I turned around and my new kitten was flailing headfirst in the bowl. I'm not sure what he thought he was doing, but to this day he will not go near a toilet.
