kimmy and i went out to a girls club last night. this club is on the last saturday of every month. we haven't been since new years eve. but before heading there we decided to catch up with our gay friend, B, for a drink at another gay pub first. that was all fun. hanging out with our gay male friends like a couple of fag hags

If these places didn't have a cover charge of at least this which covers room charge, insurance, bar, dj,staffing fees and the fact that it's a once a month maybe fortnight thing then they wouldn't be opened.I also think you miss the whole idea of having a space like this and it's to be able to go out have fun be yourself and feel comfortable and not get hassled by mainly homophobic rednecks.The comments you make are extremely negative,to me you sound like your embarrassed of who you are,you describe people as if they have some sort of illness if they don't look or act the way you would like them too!The comments about not being able to connect to those people is actually your own inner self lacking in human social skills,your constant need to feel above a person or situation is so blatant in the things you have written.Yes I have read some of the journal which is linked to lesbian communities.Not to be judgmental to you because I don't know you only what was written here but I think you need to look at life in a little different way and then maybe you will be amazed at how better you will feel in general to other life situations and not label or have preconceived ideals about someone or something.
