after messing around with bits and pieces of an idea that never really had a direction, i've decided abandon it completely... so for my final project in my electronic/mechanics/kinetics class, i'm going to try my best to build one of these:

If you have any questions or problems, I can probably help. If you have the schematics/how-to directions you can make these things. Building is probably the easier part. Planning is the hard part (if you're not building from a kit). If your project allows you to build from a kit, I highly recommend it. Check out "4ms Pedals" or "Build Your Own Clone" or "General Guitar Gadgets" for kits. Keep in mind it takes time for these kits to be delivered.
I have a small guitar amp you can use. If it's more convenient for you, you may also use the one I left at Amie's apartment. Just let me know when you need it, and we can arrange a time. I work Mon-Thurs, 8:00am to 6:00pm. Otherwise, I am free. You can call me anytime.

unfortunately for me, this is due tomorrow. i wish i had discovered it sooner so i could have ordered everything online and wouldn't have had to spend the whole day today frantically driving all over the place to find all the parts. luckily i have a schematic and a parts list to make one similar to the first one for about $25. i found all but two parts and i'm really hoping that i can find the last two at this special electronics store in westminster, otherwise i don't know whats going to happen. i just need two specific capacitors, but i'm sure i could use slightly stronger ones if they dont have exactly what i need. i just don't know how it will affect my project. if i don't finish it on time or i cant figure it out, i will have you take a look at it and see if you can help me finish it. thank you for everything.

well, it was a complete failure. i never finished because i couldn't figure out how to hook up the potentiometers, but i got all the pieces on the pc board soldered on. i don't know if i did it right though, it's a hot mess.

this is the schematic. it confused me because in that picture, the potentiometers have 3 wires coming off of them but in the photo gallery, where he shows how he put it all together, they only have two. i got lost.

I would just follow the schematic and ignore that guy's pictures in the photo gallery. Let me know if you still need anything.
