Español
I feel as though I should be able to speak Spanish. I can not.
I'd love to be able to speak all kinds of languages (which is funny, since there are hardly any people that I really speak that much to in English), but Spanish seems so accessible and I don't know why I've never really learned.
My senior year in high school was frustrating as far as Spanish class was concerned and perhaps that turned me off a bit. At least half of the class were native Spanish speakers (along with a valedictorian or two... maybe even three). I can hardly even remember anything from that class, other than the fact that my best friend Cayce was in it. Really I should have tried harder, but my senior year was all about how much I loved my friends, so unfortunately I didn't concentrate on academics as much as I should have. Not that I did particularly bad in school, I just definitely live up to my potential that year.
So, I want to study Spanish again. Why not, right???
