It's pretty hard to completely avoid music. I can't see why anyone would ever want to, but I definitely go through phases where I listen to a lot less music than I would like to. There are always songs in the background, in movies, in elevators (not that I spend much time in elevators); but somehow from time to time I forgot how important it is

I actually just checked out Regina Spektor a few days ago, partly because I noticed you were so fond of her and you have excellent taste. So far I think she's great and I look forward to becoming more familiar with her stuff.

I've only heard bits and pieces of the others you've mentioned, so you've done a great job at suggesting. How lucky I am to have you in my life (my internet-life, at least)! Thanks again =D
