it's beginning to look a lot like christmas

Me, my Dad, Andrew, Susan, and Nick went to the frederick city kris kringle procession this evening.

here are a few reasons why it was amazing:

-we parked in shab row.. found parking right away.
-we had yummy hot drinks from frederick coffee company.
-nick started out the evening kinda shy, nervous, or embarrassed (not sure which) at the parade and ended it enthusiastically waving to kris kringle at the band shell.
-nick still believes in santa claus (awesome)
-me susan dad nick and andrew sang all the words to all the christmas carols except the mystery verse in jingle bells which none of us knew.

i conducted a short survey following the ordeal and found out everyones favorite part of the evening:

Andrew: Seeing the older girls of dance unlimited wearing short little mrs. claus outfits (probably all underage)
Susan: Getting coffee because she randomly LOVES the coffee company. i guess because she never gets to go there.
Me: Four way tie between singing christmas carols, the enthusiasm of the "town crier" who lead the festivities following the parade, seeing old timey German santa, and one of the cub scout floats which had a little camping scene with a tree and a tent and a tiny fake campfire.. so cute.
Nick: seeing santa claus
Dad: seeing nick wave to santa claus.

I love Christmas!!

p.s. I'm totally going to the nutcracker on Friday, I dont care if i go alone. i've been to the weinberg alone before, i'll do it again.
